The Boulevard Race is back for year 2! The race date is Sunday, September 22, 2024 in downtown Spokane.
The race was first held this past fall and was met with a huge embrace from the community. The Boulevard Race benefits Community Cancer Fund – a non-profit that supports local cancer patients and the organizations that serve them. Last year’s course featured an assortment of cheer zones, DJs, bands, and drumlines through a scenic 4-mile downtown course.
Race registration for this year’s race opens Friday, February 16. The race entry is just $30 and you can register at www.boulevardrace.com
Every participant of the race receives:
- The Great PNW designed race shirt
- $30 off ($100 purchase) Rosauers grocery coupon
- Free Dutch Bros. coffee beverage
- Free car wash from Metro Express
In 2023, more than 2,000 racers signed up for the Boulevard – making it one of Spokane’s largest first year events.
“We are excited to see what year 2 brings,” said Jon Neill, The Boulevard Race Director. “The success we experienced in our inaugural year is one more reminder of how our incredible community comes together to support events and champion a cause.”
The Boulevard will be capped with 5,000 runners and walkers, so racers are encouraged to sign up early. When you register for the race you can also make a donation to Community Cancer Fund. Brand new for this year’s race: All donations up to $25,000 will be matched by the Avista Foundation. And for the first $25 you donate – – you get a free Papa Murphy’s pizza.
“Thanks to the generosity of the Avista Foundation and Papa Murphy’s Pizza, our racers have every reason to give more to help those in the cancer patient community who need it the most.”
